MUSE: Inspiration Eternelle
The artist here is Richard Murrian, formerly the exclusive photographer of the well known MET-ART website. If you're familiar with his work there then you know that it is some of the highest quality and most exquisitely aesthetic fine-art nude photography around. In this site, where he is creative director, he has moved up a notch and totally abandons any batch processing or other mass production technique, chosing instead to spend a lot of time perfecting each individual shot of a much smaller number of shots. Quality over quantity is not a common trait in today's world, and in the case of the work presented on this site it is very worth the effort. In the tour for visitors he offers side by side comparison of the same photograph in the previous high quality and in the new extra high quality. The difference is obvious. New content is added twice a week. All content is offered in your choice of 800, 1200, or 2000 pixels, and is available in zipped download. Periodically he offers a technical page of tips for aspiring photographers. Each muse [model] has an introductory page inside including in many cases a video introduction where the muse discusses things about her modeling. Also included inside for members is a guest gallery of another photographer, which has similar production quality to Murrian's. Available only to members is the right to purchase a quarterly high quality glossy 8.5x11" soft-cover book of prints [I want one and you will too!]. Reading back over this review I seem to be waxing somewhat eloquently, and I can't see a single compliment where I have overstated my opinion. Highly recommended. - Peter
